Library committee approves $7,500 for additional commissioning visits
Permanent Town Building Committee · Meeting of June 8, 2026
WESTFORD — Joint library committee approved $7,500 for additional commissioning. The unanimous transfer from contingency budget, passed by 10 members at the June 8 virtual meeting, will fund five additional site visits to ensure the roof and other building elements are complete before the library project closes out. The committee said these supplemental visits were needed to prevent problems that occurred on previous town building projects.
The committee also received information on a memo to the Select Board regarding lot access for constructing a retaining wall and outflow pipe.
