Commission unanimously backs three-member reappointment recommendation

Agricultural Commission · Meeting of June 1, 2026

WESTFORD — Agricultural Commission voted unanimously to recommend three members for reappointment to the board of selectmen. Mark O'Lalor, Sharon Chew, and Joyce Bruno were recommended for continued service. The commission also processed new membership applications from Catherine Magee and Bllu Catalano, while Finance reports indicated the electronic payments process for community garden plot fees has been sorted and CPC funds have been provisioned toward a sun shelter project.

Joana Liu Donaher reported that one bee hive contracted a possible tracheal mite disease; the MDAR inspector recommended formic acid treatment, which is not contagious to other hives.
