WESTFORD — Nabnasset School Advisory Council approved prior minutes and reviewed the school improvement plan at its March 9 meeting. Principal Nina Balfe presented updates on kindergarten screening, pre-K lottery, and tier 2 social-emotional learning groups centered on perseverance as a core school value. A Read-A-Thon offering weekly book awards runs through month's end.
The council will gather feedback on the improvement plan, which identifies growth in social-emotional learning, literacy, and math as priorities for strengthening teaching and learning.
