Parks Commission approves December minutes; schedules field permit review.

WESTFORD — Parks Commission approves tiered field permit documentation standards and annual calendar. Commission Chair Chris Barrett announced that organizations with field-use permitting fees at or above $5,000 will submit full documentation including organizational information, roster lists, game and tournament schedules, and CORI forms; smaller groups will provide truncated versions with a two-week submission window. Assistant Director Lori Halverson reported that artificial turf replacement at Nutting Community Fields will be complete by April 30, requiring alternative field arrangements for user groups during construction.
Recreation Director Michelle Collett noted that FY26 departmental revenue collection stands at 49 percent with a $10,000 gain versus the prior year.
