Westford Select Board approves community preservation grant agreement and appointments to working groups. Chair Chris Barrett and the five-member board unanimously authorized Town Manager Kristen Las to execute a Community Preservation Grant Agreement with First Parish Church United as approved by the March 28 Town Meeting. The board also voted unanimously to support the Open Space and Recreation Plan, a ten-year plan required for state conservation grants, and to approve a Board and Committee Code of Conduct.
Town Manager Las received board approval for a $2 million MassDOT agreement on the Boston Road water main installation and approximately $102,046 in purchase orders and contracts. Craig Dillon and Meghan O'Connell were appointed residents-at-large to an expanded Tax Working Group charge that also includes a business owner position.
