Westford Invites Residents Into Town Manager Search

WESTFORD — Town officials are asking Westford residents to help shape the search for new town leadership, one of several fresh items in this week's official News Flash alongside a new hire in the Town Manager's office and word that the Stony Brook Track project is finished.

TOWN HALL

The town is seeking community members to get involved in the Town Manager Selection Process, according to a new item posted to the town's official News Flash. The town did not detail the process timeline in the posting, but the callout signals that Westford is moving toward filling or reviewing its top administrative post.

In other town business, Westford announced Eric Du as its new Operations Analyst, and confirmed the Stony Brook Track and Athletic Court Improvement Project is complete. The town also flagged upcoming waterline construction on Groton Road (Route 40), which residents who travel that corridor should plan around. Separately, early voting for the state primary got underway Saturday, August 22, as previously announced.

J.V. Fletcher Library is planning Stickerpalooza for Thursday, September 10, from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Westford Recreation Department's Roudenbush Community Center, third floor, an afternoon program for kids and families.
