WESTFORD — The Clean Energy and Sustainability Committee set its Fall Town Meeting agenda for a specialized energy code that could unlock state grants of up to $1 million versus the current $100,000 Green Communities cap. The virtually convened committee heard the Power Options Program has generated $12 million in cumulative residential savings and established a working group to update solar and battery zoning to meet an October 1 state deadline. The Select Board had reappointed Mike Berlinski, Sriman Banerjee and Thomas Teller to the committee on June 9, replacing retired member Mark Tincknell.
