WESTFORD — Community Behavioral Mental Health Committee endorses mental health awareness month. The committee unanimously approved a May Mental Health Awareness Month Proclamation at its March 23 meeting. Rae Dick reported Health Department accomplishments in mental health initiatives, and Deputy Chief James Peloquin described expansion of Crisis Intervention Training among Westford police to 65 percent of staff, compared to 10 percent when the committee began.
An Opioid Settlement Funds Focus Group is set for March 31 at the Cameron Senior Center; residents can register with Nicole Laviolette.
