Community Preservation Committee hears five applications, votes deferred

Westford Community Preservation Committee heard five FY26 applications on February 10, postponing votes to February 19. Four applications were discussed in detail: 4-H Horse Arena Accessibility improvements requiring tiered viewing walls at a hillside site; Affordable Housing Trust down payment assistance and rental support through WRAP and WERAP programs; a Housing Production Plan at $45,000 total cost with $30,000 already secured; and a Historical Records Preservation Project to continue document work. CPC Administrator Jesse Beyer reported approximately $3.6 million in available funds, with roughly $100,000 remaining if all applications were approved, a five-year low.
