Recycling Commission backs Operations Analyst position for town meeting

Westford Recycling Commission unanimously backs an Operations Analyst position ahead of Town Meeting, with a planned annual salary of $80,000. Chair George Haines and Vice Chair Kris Erickson refined a support letter to emphasize expanded drop-off locations for electronics, food waste, and Styrofoam, and will appear in a promotional video prepared by Assistant Town Manager Mike Edwards. The commission also unanimously voted to allocate $5,000 from grant funds to the J.V.
Fletcher Library for a Library of Things initiative and approved $110 in combined state recycling conference fees for Elizabeth Sawyer and volunteer Kristina Greene, paid from RDP grant funds.
