WESTFORD — Zoning Board of Appeals discusses modification to special permit at 25 and 25R Carlisle Road. Doug Walters appeared on behalf of the pending buyer, seeking approval to convert the primary structure into a sole-use veterinary clinic while maintaining the accessory dwelling unit as a standalone residential unit without owner-occupancy requirement. Chair Scott MacKay recommended treating the request as a minor modification, with the stipulation that the ADU's garage cannot be converted into a second ADU.
Town Planner Joseph Giniewicz was directed to consult with Town Counsel on appropriate modification language for review at the Board's May meeting. The Board unanimously approved prior meeting minutes and adjourned.
