Blasting Notice Issued For Ledge Road Site

Town officials issued a new blasting notice for 80 Ledge Road, adding another controlled blast to a summer marked by construction activity across Westford, while the library rolled out more August programming and MetroWest-area outlets flagged a wave of layoffs hitting the state.

The town's News Flash feed posted a blasting notice for 80 Ledge Rd on Monday morning, the latest in a string of blasting alerts issued this summer as construction projects continue around Westford. No details on blast timing or safety perimeter were included beyond the notice itself.

Westford also promoted Steven Clark to Chief Assessor, according to the town's homepage announcements, and continues work on several capital projects, including the Robinson School modernization effort, the Boston Road reconstruction, and the ongoing J.V. Fletcher Library renovation and expansion.
