Planning Board continues hearings; approves 7 Carl Thompson Road modifications.

WESTFORD — Planning Board approves modifications to previously approved 7 Carl Thompson Road site plan. Chair Mike Bonenfant and the five-member Board voted unanimously to permit changes including replacement of a stormwater basin with a subsurface system, preservation of eight to ten trees, additional parking pavement, entrance gate relocation, and downward-facing lighting on a timer from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Two abutters raised concerns about lighting and tree preservation.
The Board continued three other public hearings without discussion: 400 Littleton Road restaurant-and-arcade project and 37 Powers Road subdivision to February 2, and the Nashoba Valley Ski Area subdivision to March 2.
