Westford Health Insurance Trust Fund approves stop-loss renewal with 13.46 percent premium increase. The Trust's fund balance reached approximately $5.2 million as of January 31, with a $1.66 million increase from January 2025, according to Finance Director Dan O'Donnell. HUB International consultant Mark Criscitelli reported a favorable 92 percent loss ratio for the November 2025 through January 2026 period, with revenue exceeding expenses by approximately $377,000.
Finance Committee Representative Nate Mackinnon expressed concerns about the renewal, and Town Manager Kristen Las indicated a newly selected health insurance consultant's findings are expected in late March 2026.
