Westford Health Insurance Trust recorded a $5.831 million fund balance as of March 31, 2026. Finance Director Dan O'Donnell reported the balance is approximately $1.4 million higher than the prior year despite anticipated market volatility impact on March investment earnings. The Trust received a detailed analysis from Lockton Companies consultants Patrick Haraden, Matt Carville, and Meena Menon examining the town's current health insurance offerings, benchmark community comparisons, and future options based on a fall RFP.
The Trust plans to meet again before presenting findings to the Select Board, Finance Committee, and School Committee.
