Westford Changes Polling Site, Closes Forge Village Road After Culvert Failure
WESTFORD — The town notified voters of a change in the polling location for Westford Academy and shut down Forge Village Road after a culvert failure, while public works crews also prepare for waterline construction on Groton Road.

The town alerted residents to a change in the polling location for Westford Academy voters, according to a News Flash notice posted on the town website. Further details on the new site were not included in the notice.

The Town Manager's office released its August newsletter this week, and Westford welcomed Eric Du as its new Operations Analyst. Flags outside town buildings were lowered to half-staff from 6 p.m. Aug. 25 until sunset Sept. 1 in memory of entertainer Dolly Parton, and the town confirmed completion of the Stony Brook Track and Athletic Court improvement project.
