Westford Posts Unofficial Results From Tuesday's Primary
WESTFORD — Westford voters headed to the polls Tuesday for the state primary, and the town posted unofficial local results that night, even as statewide returns showed Sen. Ed Markey turning back a challenge from Rep. Seth Moulton and businessman Brian Minogue advancing to face Gov. Maura Healey in November, according to Patch.

The Town Clerk's office posted the unofficial vote count for Tuesday's primary Tuesday night; the full results are available at the town's document center (https://westfordma.gov/DocumentCenter/View/18613/UNOFFICIAL-RESULTS---September-1-2026).
Elsewhere on the town's News Flash feed, the Town Manager's September newsletter is now available, and Westford has launched an official town Instagram account. Public works crews continue waterline construction on Groton Road (Route 40), and Tadmuck Lane remains closed for road work; the town says the Stony Brook Track and Athletic Court improvement project is now complete.

J.V. Fletcher Library will close Saturday, Sept. 5 through Monday, Sept. 7 for the Labor Day holiday and reopen Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. at its temporary home, 515 Groton Road. On Wednesday, Sept. 2, the library hosts a virtual "Job Search Help for 50 & Over" session focused on self-assessment and mindset.
