WESTFORD — Joint library committee approves monthly construction expenses and annual report. The Library Trustees and Permanent Town Building Committee unanimously authorized $550,082.65 in February warrants and invoices, including $420,232.08 to Hutter Construction, $57,029.99 in architecture services, and $42,590.00 in project management. The committee reported aggregated interest earned through January of $155,822.43 on grant funds.
Project managers cited unforeseen conditions and weather for a 40-day schedule extension request beyond the previous 46-day extension, with second floor concrete pouring and window installation continuing.
