Westford Select Board approves $8 million PFAS treatment plant loan and millions in capital spending. In a unanimous 5-0 vote, the board authorized the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust loan and ratified purchase orders totaling $2.1 million, including a $1.038 million asphalt paving project and $523,000 in public works equipment. The board also approved an International Association of Firefighters collective bargaining agreement for FY25 through FY27 and voted to establish two working groups to examine tax policy reform and potential shifts to the March Annual Town Meeting date, with votes scheduled for a May 11 joint meeting.
