WESTFORD — Select Board backed health insurance trust recommendations on stop loss renewal and plan design changes. Chair Chris Barrett stated the board's consensus support for obtaining stop loss quotes for November 1, 2026, with potential deductible increases from $150,000 to $175,000. The board also supported deferring GIC look-alike plan design changes and pursuing negotiations toward "mid-point" plan modifications for the November 2026 renewal.
Member G. Thomas Clay noted the town was preparing for a challenging FY28 budget, and the board scheduled a public question session for July 23, 2026, at 4:30 PM.
