Select Board advances funding for camps and senior services

Westford Select Board approved operational funding and major development agreements in June meeting. The board voted unanimously to increase East Boston Camps Maintenance Revolving Fund from $80,000 to $115,000 and Senior Center Programs Revolving Fund from $65,000 to $75,000. In a joint vote with the Planning Board, the board appointed Thomas Themeles to fill Dylan O'Connor's Planning Board vacancy, 6-3.
Town Manager Kristen Las reported acceptance of a $894,750 MassDOT grant for North Main Street infrastructure and $118,895 for the Council on Aging, while the board unanimously approved an amendment to the 37 Powers Road development agreement for a 530-unit residential project by ZOM Living.
