WESTFORD TOWN MANAGER LAS ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION

Westford Town Manager Kristen Las announced her resignation effective September 30 for a Shrewsbury position. The Select Board unanimously approved appointments including Andrew Spanos to the Zoning Board of Appeals, Bridget Arciero to the Commission on Disability, and Laura Granato to the Recycling Commission. The board voted unanimously to support state legislation H. 3745 and S. 2344 authorizing road-safety cameras for traffic violations and approved a $195,000 MassDOT grant for Flushing Pond Road reconstruction.
Chair Chris Barrett condemned recent anti-Semitic and racist graffiti vandalism at Butter Brook Golf Club, urging community reports to police.
