Zoning Board approves garage addition on Lawson Road
Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of May 20, 2026
WESTFORD — Zoning Board approved a special permit for residential addition at 50 Lawson Road. Chair Scott MacKay and the board unanimously granted front yard setback relief for a 26'x28' garage with bedroom, reducing the required setback from 50 feet to 18.4 feet, with conditions requiring shed relocation and Conservation Commission coordination of pervious pavement. The board also unanimously approved a minor modification at 25 and 25R Carlisle Road to convert a veterinary-residential property to veterinary use only.
In a directional discussion, the board declined to modify a comprehensive permit for Tadmuck Meadows to allow town-provided trash collection, with 25 percent of units designated as Chapter 40B affordable housing.
