Westford Zoning Board approved tattoo studio permit. Applicant Veronica Lee Sullivan won unanimous approval from the Zoning Board of Appeals to operate a private by-appointment tattoo studio at 175 Littleton Road, Unit 2, with hours Tuesday through Friday 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and every other Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., conditioned on business-hour and sharps-disposal regulations. The Board continued to August 19 a controversial variance request from Susan Merhi to allow used motor vehicle sales at 31 North Street, citing parking concerns and neighbor opposition from Tom Kelley and Tim Hall.
Vice-Chair Jay Enis announced retirement after 35 years of service; the Board unanimously approved replacements including Andrew Spanos as voting member, Ryan Whelpley, and Katherine Dorau Arnold for alternate seats.
