Agricultural Commission Members Face June Renewal Deadline

WESTFORD — Three Agricultural Commission members faced a June deadline to renew their tenure to maintain quorum. Commission member Pooja Kapoor urged the three to renew promptly. The Westford Community Garden officially opened for the 2026 season on May 4, with a sunshelter project costing $1,500 for architectural drawings plus additional expenses for footing inspections; Mark O'Lalor offered to consult with the Building Commissioner and CPC Fund Board Committee member Bob Jeffries about the requirements.
The commission also planned to survey agricultural property owners to assess farming activity levels in town.
