Board unanimously approves police labor agreement for three years

Westford Select Board backs police labor agreement with 2.5 percent raise. The five-member board voted unanimously 5-0 to approve a tentative collective bargaining agreement with the Westford Police Association for fiscal years 2026 through 2028. Town Manager Kristen Las reported the contract was already included in the budget and includes changes to bereavement language, education benefits, and shift differential.
Select Board Member John Cunningham was acknowledged for his assistance with the negotiation. The Superior Officers also have a separate tentative agreement coming before the board.
