Library Trustees Approve Study Room Policy Ahead of Building Move

Westford library trustees approved a study rooms and tutorials policy before the March 31 building move. Director Ellen Rainville reported the library will increase operating hours by 3 per week in the new facility. The Massachusetts Public Library Construction Grant project is advancing with all furniture purchase orders submitted; staff are preparing collections for the transition.

The library will close for approximately one month during the relocation. Trustees also approved the ARIS 27 Report for submission to the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners by August 14.
