Westford Closes Tadmuck Lane To Traffic

Westford closed Tadmuck Lane to through traffic this week, the town said in a News & Announcements post, adding another road to a summer stretch of local closures and detours.

The Tadmuck Lane closure was posted to the town's website without an estimated reopening date. It comes as crews continue separate work on Forge Village Road and the Groton Road waterline corridor, projects the town's News Flash has covered in recent days.

Town Hall also renewed its call for residents to sign up as poll workers and Town Meeting support staff, saying the town needs community members to help run upcoming elections and town meetings. The announcement did not specify a signup deadline.

COMING UP

The municipal calendar stays busy this week. The Select Board holds its regular Tuesday meeting on Aug. 25. The Conservation Commission meets Wednesday, Aug. 26, followed by the Board of Water Commissioners' monthly meeting on Thursday, Aug. 27.
