Joint Committee Approves $1.6 Million in Library Construction Costs

WESTFORD — The Joint Library Building Committee unanimously approved $1.6 million in construction payments and project expenses for the ongoing library renovation. The committee authorized $1.5 million to Hutter Construction through June, $57,030 to architect Finegold Alexander, and $42,500 to CHA Solutions for project management. Construction remains on track for March 31, 2027 completion with multiple trades working in June and masonry beginning in July; no safety incidents were reported.

The committee approved $155,823 in grant-fund interest earnings and confirmed $570,399 in additional disbursements anticipated for Spring 2027.
