Joint committees approve $441,733 in library renovation change orders; table one

WESTFORD — Joint Library and Building committees approved five change orders for the Fletcher Library renovation. The Permanent Town Building Committee and Library Trustees authorized $441,733 in additional project costs at their June 22 meeting, including approvals for geothermal connections ($39,631), electrical coordination ($92,429), EV modifications ($37,366), and roof work ($42,695). An interior tile proposal ($21,966) was deferred until July 13.
Foundation damp-proofing Option 3 received approval at $18,000 not-to-exceed, pending further engineering assessment of impacts to related construction work.
