Library Trustees approve Overdrive digital resources spending

Westford Library Trustees approved Overdrive digital resources spending and re-elected board leadership. Director Ellen Rainville reported the library achieved full staffing, updated twenty-two job descriptions for a new building at 515 Groton Road targeted for December 2026, and secured a $100,000 audio-visual contract through Rep. Arciero for fall installation.
Assistant Director Kristina Leedberg was accepted to a local-government leadership program running through May 2027. The Foundation received major gifts including a $50,000 bequest from Gertrude Houghton, donations from Barbara Seavey and Sam Frank, and the Norman Bigert bequest.
