Westford Conservation Commission issues enforcement order for wetland alteration

Westford Conservation Commission issued enforcement order and approved multiple development projects. The Commission issued an Enforcement Order against Industrial Rents LLC for alterations within 100 feet of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland at 123 Oak Hill Road, requiring a new wetland delineation within 60 days and a remediation plan within 90 days. The Commission approved testing of the LakeGuard prototype, a $25-to-$30 water-quality monitoring device, in Burges Pond through September 15, 2026.

The Commission issued Orders of Conditions for projects at 176 Concord Road and 17 and 19 Hartford Road, continued a public hearing for 219 Littleton Road to May 13, and approved an after-the-fact application for The Works Cafe.
