Commission issues determinations on two residential projects

Conservation Commission · Meeting of March 25, 2026

Westford Conservation Commission approved determinations on two smaller residential projects and continued three larger developments to April 8 hearings. The Commission issued a Negative Determination for a 10-by-21-foot deck at 50 West Street and a Conditional Negative Determination for a garage addition at 43R Beaver Brook Road, both unanimously approved with erosion-control conditions. Three projects were continued: an Accessory Dwelling Unit at 176 Concord Road pending narrative analysis of site alternatives; a new dwelling at 17 & 19 Hartford Road by Premium Homes LLC; and a mixed-use development at 219 Littleton Road with a site visit scheduled for April 7.

The Commission unanimously ratified an emergency certification issued March 19 by Conservation Resource Planner Matthew Salem for Department of Public Works Bridge Street culvert replacement following a sinkhole closure.
